KWAI cast off her lines in Honolulu at 12:00 PM May 26 under fair weather.

Updated schedule for the Cook Islands August 16:

Pago-Pago in American Samoa=27th to August 4
Puka-Puka, Cook Islands= 8th to 10th of August
Palmerston Island= 16 to 17 of August
Rarotonga, Cook Islands= to be updated very soon!

Island Ventures Ltd. is currently operating S/V Kwai. The mission of this project is to develop and operate a sailing ship with world wide range and the ability to earn her keep from multiple sources of income. These include cargo and trading operations throughout the Islands of the South Pacific, adventure travel passengers, and expedition/research charters. Following the traditions of island schooners she will be a beautiful and able vessel capable of carrying 200 tons of foodstuffs, construction materials and general cargo in her hold, stopping at the remote islands of the Pacific to trade with the local inhabitants. Crew and passengers will work the ship according to ability and take part in the adventurous lifestyle of the trading ship.
